Updates
Handling Terms of Service updates and maintaining compliance
If Swipelux updates its Terms of Service, we will notify you. You must ensure that your current and future customers accept the updated terms to continue using the platform.
Notification Process
When terms are updated:
- Swipelux will notify you via email and/or API webhook
- You will receive the effective date of the new terms
- A grace period may be provided for implementation
Your Responsibilities
For New Customers
Update your UI to link to the new Terms of Service URL before the effective date.
For Existing Customers
You must obtain renewed consent from existing customers for the updated terms.
Implied Consent: Continued use of the API for a specific customer after a Terms of Service update implies that you have obtained the necessary consent for the new terms.
Compliance Tracking
We recommend maintaining records of:
- Terms version accepted by each customer
- Timestamp of acceptance
- Method of acceptance (checkbox, click-through, etc.)
