# Entity and business types

> Review the entity, industry, source-of-funds, and purpose-of-funds concepts used in KYB policy.

## Entity and business classification concepts

Swipelux uses the following concepts to classify a business during KYB review.

  enums, and they do not guarantee that a business is eligible or approved.

## Business entity types

| Entity type               | Description                           |

| Limited Liability Company | LLC or equivalent                     |
| Corporation               | General corporation                   |
| S Corporation             | US S corporation                      |
| C Corporation             | US C corporation                      |
| Partnership               | General partnership                   |
| Limited Partnership       | Limited partnership                   |
| Sole Proprietorship       | Individually owned business           |
| Nonprofit                 | Nonprofit organization                |
| Trust                     | Business trust                        |
| Cooperative               | Member-owned cooperative              |
| DAO                       | Decentralized autonomous organization |
| Foundation                | Foundation entity                     |
| Other                     | Another entity form                   |

Do not translate this policy catalog into request values. The current task requirements determine the values, descriptions, and evidence you submit for a particular customer and capability.
